About the Keystone Corps
The Keystone Corps was founded December 2008 to provide a place for our friends and members to
fellowship and play in a clean, safe, Christian environment. Our members have been gaming together
for many years, and have known each other even longer. The Corps is simply the latest chapter in our
history together. It exists to provide a way for us to combine our resources and talents so that we
can have our own little corner of cyberspace for our fellowship.
Our Name
Six of our eight founding members are from Pennsylvania, the Keystone State, so the name was a
natural choice. (The other two are from Buffalo, NY, but we don't hold that against them.)
Our Beliefs
All of our members are Christians, and we share a common belief in Biblical authority and values.
We believe that it is the duty and privilege of each Christian to be a witness and a light to those
around us in everything that we do, both in the physical and virtual world.
Our Ministry
We believe strongly in the importance of Christian fellowship for prayer, study, and worship in a
face to face setting within our own local churches. As a result, the Corps has limited activities in
these areas in preferrence of encouraging our members to actively particiapte in their local church
activities.
By way of analogy, think of the Keystone Corps in the same way that you would a church sports
league. Everything that we do is informed by our faith; however, our area of focus is not as an
outreach ministry, but as an internal ministry to fellow believers.
How Do I Join?
Membership in the Corps is by invitation only. All of our original members already knew each
other in real life before the Corps was founded. The Corps serves as a way for us to extend that
friendship into the virtual world. As such, we do not actively recruit for new members or provide a
mechanism for application to the group.
If you wish to join our group, we need to get to know each other. The best way to do that is for
you to participate in our forums, chat with us on Teamspeak, and play games together with us. Once
we've gotten to know each other, we will definitely consider extending an invitation to join us if
you express such an interest.
