So, Black Ops singleplayer looks pretty dull but they are doing some interesting stuff with multiplayer. Notice that all the custom gamemodes are still ranked. There's also a in game recording device that lets you cut clips and essentially make montages right from the game and upload them. If they have dedicated servers and the guns have some recoil and normal-sized hitboxes, this might actually be a pretty fun game. Here's hoping...

Yea, the game actually looks fun, and I've been hearing good things about it, but mostly geared to the Xbox. :/

Time will tell. I like the new ideas. Of course, too much new, like peer-to-peer connecting, is bad.

Supposedly it's going to have dedicated servers but no mod or custom map support. I could live with that for a vastly reduced price as opposed to never getting MW2 for more than 10 dollars.

The Gun Game ends with bigger guns... That's totally stupid.

However, you'll notice that they took out Stopping Power and Juggernaut because those two perks don't matter anymore... You know, since people die in 2 landed hits anyways...

I like the sound of that one bullet/hit kill mode...

Hopefully Steam will have some good deals on this game.

Definitely, Jon. I like that kill mode. It comes down to skill more (of course people can get you from behind) where spam isn't involved. But you will be spamming bullets because of all the kills you are getting.

For those who didn't see what happened with BC2 (and Steam tends to do this quite a bit), Steam will have a small discount many times pre-release (if the developer/publisher lets them) for a game, and then it will go to full price. Then, they will drop the price by a larger amount a month or two after the game comes out (this happened with BC2).
