So it's been kinda dead....
newsbf3
Let's get this going again.
This Saturday and Sunday (May 26/27), BF3 is having a double XP event thing just like everyone's other favorite shooter franchise does. So if you're looking to play, expect almost all the servers to be on Metro 24/7 for maximum point boosting.
E3 is coming up in a few weeks. Should be some decent multiplatform games shown off and we'll get to see how crazy Black Ops 2 is.
Oh and one last thing, Borderlands 2 has some super expensive collector's edition where you can get a loot chest that is this big:

*runs to gaming computer* Wait a minute...
I would be gaming, but I can't right now. I've been watching Lost and botting Runescape. I don't approve of this double XP weekend. I could get a pretty absurd PPM because I only have 55 hours played, so another 10 hours @ 600 PPM on Metro multiplied by 2 would be pretty crazy. OH WAIT! That's Ravic's normal PPM. He's crazy! Runescape has been doing bonus XP weekends since March, 2010 to attract members.
You seen Nex sometimes, right? I know he tends to play on Thursdays. But then everyone else isn't around much.
My SPM was about 560 before the double XP weekend so I'm like almost Ravic now WORSHIP ME. In all seriousness though, SPM means nothing for a while after this weekend. Just had a few ridiculously high scoring rounds.
Nex and Glock get on still but they're pretty much the only ones playing much.
I meant with the times 2 ;) He was at roughly 1000?
Yeah, that's too bad no one else is playing. Stryker has avoided BF3, but I don't think he's been playing much anyway.
Ravic has only just recently gotten much above 900 and I was looking at better battlelog which has different types of SPM displayed so I got all confused. I was looking up his teammates and they all pretty much just play in vehicles together just racking up all those points. I can't imagine how great it would be to play with such competent players in vehicles with you dominating the whole server.
Yea... I'll be playing once I get back and get online.
We've finally managed to settle, and sign, but of course while I'm in Italy so I'll be back June 13th and hopefully have internet installed within a week. Then I'll be back online and playing alot. If anyone wants to play like... Shogun 2, Warband: Napolean, or COH i'll be down till I get back. Also, soon as I get back I'll be setting up a local Terreria and Minecraft servers and set up streaming/gaming nights for those games.
Lots of stuff to look forward too! :)
I'll also be having another go at the home opening party, so you pitt guys will have another chance to get down. You too Buffalo!
I would probably have a lot better chance in the Summer to come to the party. I don't know if I could justify going all the way to Philly if there would be a bunch of other people there. I guess we'd probably sleep there and would have time to hang out. Btw, I didn't know until now that you were in Italy until I read your post. I miss a lot without Vent.
Yeah, having a few guys playing with you consistently would be great. I know they do a lot of vehicle gameplay, but I haven't found a more fluid player who makes videos. The Craig guy who made the Battlelog updates is one of the better ones and maybe ClintBeastwood. Frankie isn't bad but can't touch any of those guys.
Redtide, send me a message if you know of any good Battlefield or CoD4 (probably Promod) channels for PC.
You want channels that are actively uploading or ones that just have good videos already on there?
Both. I have ravic, frankie, clint, craig, and fear. I like montage's and the sort of stuff ravic puts out where he edits the boring buts out or has a theme, bur let me know anyone you think worth watching.
For CoD I have a few people as well.
Hey All,
in a similar situation as Philly with bad internet connections (though am in Philly still). Will be down for BC2 or any other multiplayer game I own once I move in with Philly.
Sounds good Sarge, you guys play any more Terraria or are you guys still at the same point from when Philly's friend was streaming.
Same point, been waiting to get us altogether and be able to stream and be able to host at the same time. It's been tricky.
I see well I'll be up to continuing, summer classes permitting obviously. I recently got a new laptop for school so I might be playing Terraria on that during evening where I hang around campus.
Sweet. I'd like to get us playing a night of Terraria and a night of Minecraft once a week on our own servers, possibly a night of BC2 and BF3 as well, but we'll see how it all works out. I shouldn't be terribly busy, just got to actually PLAN things.
I will try and play as long as I can dupe. Maxed platinum ftw!
In Terraria and Minecraft what kind of servers should we use to play?
We can continue playing our current Terraria or go to hardcore mode, or normal?
What kind of Minecraft server would we want? Survival, creative, pvp?
Thoughts, opinions?
I don't have minecraft but I think we should just continue our Terraria playing as normal. Hardcore characters just make the game super tedious and with multiplayer lag, it becomes just irritating rather than fun. Playing Terraria at a snail's pace isn't very fun to me and probably not any fun to watch.
Normal works.
I'm also going to be trying out ModZ upon my return to the civilized world, looks pretty neat. It's a ArmA II mod, though only in alpha.
I'll stick to Terraria on normal, please.
Minecraft FTW! I am up for anything. I think I will be picking up ARMA 2 this summer for the dayz mod as well. Terraria is fun... I just want to build a cool castle and not die in hell.
It's not going to really matter anyway if you have it on normal mode. I made a crystal palace. I mined 5 or 6 * 250 blocks of sand and made a bunch of glass and glass background and then built my crystal palace at the top of the world where it is quite dark. It was fun!
Fun until you enter hardmode and Wyverns kill you anytime you visit your crystal palace :)
